How English Became English
There were many factors for why the English became what it is today. Back in 55 B.C., Julius Caesar invaded Britain. In 43 AD, the Emperor Claudius also invades and occupies Britain. The Romans bring Latin, Greek, and Christianity to Britain. In 410-449 A.D, Rome gets attacked by Rome. Roman Legions withdraw to help defend Rome. Vortigern asks help for the Saxons. The Saxons bring low German to Britain. In 449, the Roman Empire falls.
